Slim Doggy shared a fantastic post about whether your dog is a “weekend warrior” and if so, is he or she prone to injuries? As with humans, exercising in vigorous bursts only on the weekend, or one or two days a week, is a recipe for injury.
To keep your big dog as healthy as he can be, you need to walk him daily. Even if you can’t squeeze in an extended walk or jog every day, getting out and walking at least 30 minutes a day can help prevent weekend warrior injuries in your big dog.
