When an 18 year old blind dog gets sent to a shelter, there is a good chance that it will have trouble being adopted again. However, for this pup, something truly beautiful happened and a photographer was there to capture it. The little dog jumped into the arms of a shelter worker and hugged her almost like a human would. The dog was so desperate for human interaction and was scared that she wanted to be comforted. Thankfully, there is a happy ending for her as well. She had a foster family and eventually found her forever home with a loving mom who was screened to make sure she was the perfect fit! She never has to be scared or lonely ever again.

  1. Shame on the person who could be so callous and abandon an 18 year old dog….and blind to boot. But the happy ending is thanks to those Animal Angels who care and insured this poor old blind dog received the care and caring it needed and a good stable home where the pup will be loved and cared for the rest of the pups life…
